To be eligible to take part all players must be a fully paid up member of the A.M.M.G.C.C.

The matches consist of two players from each member club and ideally, one of those players should be that club's current Captain.

2nd Leg - Best Cheshire Team = Gary Jones & Martin Bottoms (45pts)

12th & 17th Holes = David Smith

Cheshire, as expected fought back and won the 2nd Leg by 16pts with a Total Score of 406.

Lancashire's Total score in the 2nd Leg of 390, even with two men down on the day, was enough to secure a rare but satisfying victory.
