The 2023 Challenge Matches

To be eligible to take part all players must be a fully paid up member of the A.M.M.G.C.C.

The matches consist of two players from each member club and ideally, one of those players should be that club's current Captain.

The 2nd Leg of 2023 was played at WIRRAL GC on TUESDAY 10th October.

The results for th 2nd Leg can be seen in the second table below

THE RESULTS

Cheshire - 1st Leg = 291pts; 2nd Leg = 355pts (Total 646pts)

Lancashire - 1st Leg= 279pts; 2nd Leg = 365pts (Total 644pts)

Congratulations to Cheshire who regain the "cherished" Trophy

After the first five games, Lancashire had overcome the 12 point deficit from the 1st Leg

and led by 2 points but two outstanding scores of 49pts in Cheshire's last three games,

turned the tide once more in Cheshire's favour.
