2016 - Completed

Well, gentlemen, that was 2016 and 2017 is now upon us.

We must first give a great deal of thanks to immediate Past Captain of Captains Mr Jim McCaffrey,

his Social Officer for the year (Mr John Morgan) and the staff of St. Robert Bellarmines Parish Club for the hospitality shown and wonderful buffets provided to the Association in 2016.

We appreciate, immensely, all their hard work and friendship throughout.

Congratulations and well done!

The golf course itself, proved to be longer and tougher than I remember as a youngster, but a fair and stern test. We thank, appreciate and praise the Greenstaff for presenting the course in fabulous condition and the club professional for looking after us on our events.

It goes without saying that the events take a great deal of organisation

and time which we all sometimes take for granted.

The Association Committee have worked tirelessly to ensure that the year's events have gone

according to plan, for which they also must be congratulated.

We must offer our congratulations and thanks, once again, to Jim McCaffrey for a wonderful 2016.

We now welcome in 2017 with open arms.

The 38th Annual General Meeting was held this year at

Childwall Valley Rd, Liverpool L27 3YA

The evening was well attended as always, to witness the inauguration of our

Captain of Captains for 2017

Mr. Pat Hickey of Arrowe Park Golf Club

We wish the new Captain a successful and enjoyable year in office and look forward,

with anticipation to playing Arrowe Park Golf Course in all its glory.
